Dr. Janeane Murphy is a licensed Audiologist and Owner of Crawfordsville Audiology. She has worked in Crawfordsville for 30 years and boasts over 35 years of experience in the hearing industry. Dr. Murphy received her master’s degree from the University of Akron and her Doctorate of Audiology from AT Still University, AZ. She believes in her community and continually becomes more involved every chance she gets.
Dr. Murphy’s career aspirations have always revolved around providing intimate one-on-one care for all. Her favorite part about her job are the new challenges she faces on a daily basis. One appointment could be with a 2- year-old child struggling with delayed development, while the next could be with a 70-year-old having difficulty hearing at bridge club or church. To Janeane the rewards of helping these people is the excitement from the child and the mother, when the child is able to hear the different tones and the confirmation that a patient can now hear everything at bridge and church. The diverse nature of the job has provided Dr. Murphy the ability to diagnose and successfully fit thousands of patients over the last 30 years, each patient with their own specific needs. Outside the office, she loves watching all types of sports in person and on the television and spending time with her family.
